Teenagers in the Workplace

Jobs for teenagers may be easier, but only  at certain times of the year. Teens nowadays want to get a job to pay for things like their car, shopping, or for little things they want. However, why is it so easy for them to get a job? Teenagers will go out in the summer for labor jobs like pulling weeds or mowing lawns. Its easier for teens to get small jobs like those, rather than a full-time job as a lifeguard or waiter. However,  a government report indicated 67,000 teenagers between 16 and 19 got jobs in May. In just the past year, its been the biggest increase for teen jobs since 1999. Teenagers aren’t just  making  $20 a week– they are making higher than $250. Simple and normal jobs are getting easier for teenagers to land, and as a result many peers are literally “raking in the dough.”
