We’ve all come to know our local libraries as a haven for books and encyclopedias alike. We have used them as study halls, and places to hang out after school, but with the new rises in technology, are libraries becoming abandoned places? Walk down the street, through schools, or even in supermarkets and there is technology everywhere. Books are becoming electronic. It’s as simple as going to the Appstore and downloading a book onto your tablet! Our libraries are becoming more deserted, and our generation is quickly losing the feeling of picking up a paper book, or even a newspaper, and simply reading off of a page. Even the libraries have computers we use more than books.  Maybe this weekend instead of going and seeing that new movie- run to the library and read the book first.
