At 76 years of age Lanny Spurlock has passed away.  He died January 23 following a short illness. Sally Handson reported to the news on Wednesday about Spurlocks death. It is great loss to Athol. He was a great person. Spurlock took office in 1994 when Athol was just starting to grow. He also was in the Air force from sept. 1955 to sept. 1975  he was an honorable man. A memorial will be held for Spurlock in the future the date has not yet been decided. Handson was close to him and said “I was pretty devastated.” (Photo Cred: Unknown) We all have had a huge loss and pray for their family and let them know they are not alone in this they have people to help.
