Run For the Leprechaun Scurry!
It’s time for the 24th Annual Leprechaun Scurry! What is the Leprechaun Scurry, you ask? Well, it’s a 3 mile course in which anybody can participate this February 23rd! The course begins and ends right here at Lake City High School. To participate, you must register with Heather Harmon or at Fleet Feet (511 Sherman Ave., Downtown CDA). The race will be held regardless of weather, so dress accordingly and be prepared for anything. If you register now, it will count as a late registration, so you have the option of a $15 no-shirt option and a $20 race day registration-no shirt option. You must check in or register late on Saturday February 22nd between 10 AM and 6 PM at Fleet Feet, or you can do the same on race day in the LCHS commons between 7:30 and 8:00 AM. If you check-in on Saturday at Fleet Feet, you will receive a free water bottle!
There will be age group awards, overall awards, cookies, and a raffle. The age divisions are 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and older, male and female.The Scurry will help out the cross country team.
