It’s the first day of Spring, March 20th, and Idaho is greeting it with gorgeous weather! Yesterday, if you happened to look outside you would have seen rain pouring down, but you also would have seen the sun shining brightly in the West as the rain came down. If you looked East, there was a rainbow stretched though the sky. Even though it’s not April yet, Spring has indeed sprung.

With Spring comes the traditions we all know and love, plus the occasional Spring Fever. If you’re a skeptic over Spring Fever, don’t be too quick to write it off, because it’s a real thing! “…Commonly occurring when a sudden warm spell follows a long cold period. When the temperature rises, there’s a dilation or expansion of the blood vessels so that blood can be carried to the body surface where heat can be lost quickly. Some people experience an energetic feeling to this reaction.” –holidayhaven.com

Idaho and Mother Nature are welcoming in Spring with open arms. It’s time to get ready for brighter skies, warmer days, and -ready for this?- Easter!

Easter Sunday is exactly one month away from today; April 20th. According to dosomething.org, households spend around $130 on Easter each year, coming to about $14.7 billion in total for the nation.

With Spring starting off like this, our year is looking pretty good! April Showers Bring May Flowers.
