With the weather in the mid to high 60’s the topic that seems to be on everyones mind is Summer! No one wants to have a boring summer, but how is that even possible when we live in the beautiful Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Many tourists from all over love coming to Coeur d’Alene and experiencing loads of fun, but that’s not always in our minds. When you live in a certain area sometimes you miss out on the best of opportunities around the town. We as locals think that maybe we could have a better summer visiting somewhere else.

However, that’s not true. In reality, there are so many fun things you can go do here in Coeur d’ Alene. If you’re more into swimming or even boating, Downtown is your place to go. You’re able to rent paddle boats and other fun utilities for out on the lake, plus many teens hang out downtown so meeting new friends is a definite option.  If you’re into hiking, we have many places where you can do that, Tubbs hill has lots of room plus swimming options. Also nearby is, Mineral Ridge which is mainly just a hiking area. A nice way to end your summer is at the North Idaho Fair & Rodeo, where the activities are endless.  So, if you’re ever feeling down and bored this summer, just remember you live in a beautiful area with lots of options.
