It’s the end of once again, another amazing year at LCHS. Students, reminder that EOCA’s are to begin on the last week of June. It is required to pass your EOCA’s with a D+ or higher if you have missed 4 or more days this semester. The EOCA is worth 15% of your grade, which could easily bring up or down in your grade. Every class in LCHS is required to have some sort of a final.

EOCA’s are very important to pass, if you do not pass you finals, you will fail each of the classes that apply and may have to take summer school, or repeat those classes the following year, and again be behind on credits. You are required to take classes the whole summer to repair those credits. Another option with the exception of parents is to put you into an alternative school to earn credits. The alternatives include schools such as Bridge, Project and New Vision. If you don’t want to be stuck in a classroom for another three months, I would suggest studying for those who have missed more than 4 days. Don’t forget some teachers do not let you use notes on the EOCA, so study for about an hour or more, and don’t just blow it off.
