“Allegiant” by Veronica Roth is the third book of the divergent series. If you thought Insurgent was intense wait til you read this one! Allegiant is filled with excitement, action, adventure, and surprises! Surprises lurk through the pages waiting for you to be found! This book is full of different emotions as well! At some moments you will be content then happy then sad then mad throwing the book across the room but picking it up again because you want to know what happens!

Allegiant starts off when Tris is shocked by the video Tobias (Four) releases to everyone. The video revealed the truth about the factions and said that the Divergent were needed outside the border of the city. As this news is revealed, Factionless Leader Evelyn Johnson appoints herself the leader of the city forcing everyone to operate under her command and to live like the factionless. Tension between the factionless and former faction members escalates. This escalation causes a fight with the choosing ceremony bowls and breaking them. Soon enough the Allegiant formed which is a group of people who rebel against Evelyn to go beyond the fence boundaries. They create a plan that sends Tris, Tobias, Caleb, Christina, Cara, Uriah, Tori, and Peter. Do the eight of them make out safely or is there possibly a “speed bump” along the way.
