Rock For College
Do you like to jam out to music? Rock for College is coming up in September at North Idaho College (NIC). The main goals for Rock for College is to raise money for scholarships, let people have fun, and to get more recruits for ETS (Educational Talent Search). Rock For College is a great way to get out and meet people. It’s also a great way to encourage you to further your education. Whether or not you are planning on going to college, it is a fantastic opportunity to see some cool bands and meet new and interesting people.
Rock For College has been going on for years and has been a great success to the scholarships that ETS gives out each year. Come this year to rock out and help raise money for your fellow neighborhood teens! Isabel Colby, an ETS ambassador, says, “It is a great opportunity for local artists and musicians to show their work and be heard!”

Right now, ETS has flyers up around the different schools and are asking people to submit their art and/or their bands. There will be applications available either at the front office of your high school or at the Molstead Library at NIC( North Idaho College). So, if you or a friend have an art and or a music talent, go and fill out an application and turn in your artwork! And in September, enjoy the music and art talents of some of the locals in Coeur d’Alene and Post Falls.
