They are back, Lake City! The handsome Channing Tatum and the charming Jonah Hill reclaim their former positions as officers Jenko and Schimdt this June 13th in 22 Jump Street.
The movie takes place after the 2012 hit 21 Jump Street. In this movie, Jenko and Schmidt have moved on to bigger and better things. They are no longer undercover in high school, and are now enrolled in college for their next exciting adventure. The trailers show that Jenko (portrayed by Tatum) will be joining the football team. The movie looks like it will have all the charm, humor, comedy and awkwardness of the first one.
The movies are based on a television series of the same name of the first movie. The popular series ran for four years, from 1987 to 1991, and the main character was played by the beautiful Johnny Depp. The original series had the same idea: a bunch of cops are undercover in a high school breaking up any illegal activity. The series did not have the same feel of the new movies, however. It took itself more seriously and was not quite so raunchy. However, both interpretations of the same story are entertaining and good.
The movie will be rated R and will be released Friday, June 13th. Don’t miss out on the chance to see an uproariously funny movie, T-Wolves!
