Friday, Oct. 17, 2014 Lake City has yet another victory to win when they take on the Vikings of CHS(Coeur D’ Alene High School) for the next upcoming football game at Coeur D’ Alene High School. Coeur D’ Alene High School  and Lake City High School are absolute archenemies whether it’s fighting for the fish or of course head to head in a football game, both schools are thirsty for a win. Coach Troxel as reported for homecoming states “The team works hard; plays hard, and plays to win”. The game was won 42-45 by an impressive field goal by kicker Casey Bourque! This season is so important to the boys, and they certainly showed that this game. First quarter Lake City was pulling ahead (Lake City)14-6, second quarter 14-15(CHS), third quarter 14-21(CHS), and the score was even 42-42 when an amazing field goal was kicked. Lake City standing at 7-1 overall( 2-0 in league) you can see they are fearless, and will play just as hard when they travel to Lewiston for the playoffs. Disciplined and hard working, the T-Wolves deserved the win, and is going to lead Lake City to become state champions! Great job Varsity!
