Coats for Kids

Simon Nilges, Copy Editor

North Idaho is known for its harsh winters, and that makes it especially difficult for those in financial crisis. Every year, some parents have to send their kids out to the bus stop in the freezing snow without any coats or warm clothing on. This can be changed. Lake City is holding a Coats for Kids sweatshirt drive to help young kids acquire the coats they need to make it through this winter. LCHS Students can donate new or gently used coats and sweatshirts to Mrs. Cook in room D-2, the front office, or the YVA office. Coats and sweatshirts can be any size and any age. Also watch KXLY news for alternate means for non-LCHS students. Any help is greatly appreciated!
