Beginning on November 28th, the Holiday Cruises on Lake Coeur d’Alene will begin. These cruises are a fun way to experience the amazing lights of “Santa’s workshop” and enjoy refreshments such as hot cocoa, cookies, and cider on the local cruise ships.

You should dress warmly for the cruise if you choose to stand on the open decks due to the cool weather outside, but the closed decks of the boats are warm because they are climate-controlled. The inside decks are where the refreshments are found.

Kids five and under can ride for free, while children ranging from six to twelve are $5. Adult tickets, which include anyone thirteen and older, will cost $19.75, and senior tickets, which include anyone fifty-five and older, will cost $18.75. There are three cruises a night and each cruise ride is about forty minutes long. The first ride begins at 5:30pm followed by the 6:30pm ride, and the 7:30pm ride, which is the last ride of the night.

It is advised that you arrive about a half-hour before your cruise is scheduled to leave and be in the resort shops where elves will be there to direct you to the right place. There is free two-hour parking in the Third Street City Lot, so you won’t need to worry about paying for parking unless you plan on being down town longer than the two hour limit.

This cruise is a lot of fun to go on with friends and family that helps you get into the holiday spirit! The cruise stops running January 4th, so don’t miss out!
