Well look no further, as there are a couple of events coming up that might interest you. The first event coming up is for any seniors looking to volunteer to get some tickets for our senior grad party. This event is the Spring Craft and Garden Show, which will be held on Saturday, March 21st, from 9 A.M. until 4 P.M. If you want to volunteer, then you can go to the office and talk to Amy, and she will sign you up! If you need more information about the event, there is also a flyer in the March newsletter on our school’s website. The next event is called ‘Mother and Daughter Tea for Senior Girls Only’. This event is being held on April 8th, 2015 from 5 P.M. until 6:30 P.M. The cost of this event is $15 per mother and daughter pair attending.

Another thing that involves an event, but is for the slideshow at the Senior Ball, is our #LCSENIOR15 hashtag, which you can put under your photos to get into the Senior Ball slideshow. You can also email your pictures to Alissa Jolliff by April 8th, so student council can make the slideshow. For those of you wondering when Senior Ball is, it is on Saturday, May 2nd, 2015 at the CDA Resorts Event Center. The dinner will be at 6:30 P.M. and royalty announcements will be at 9:30 P.M.. The price for a couple is $100 and the price for a single is $55. I asked a friend about how she felt about the price to prom and if she doesn’t have a date whether she would want to split the ticket with me or not. She said, “Great idea! I will love to go with you to prom (if we both don’t already have a date).”

The last event that I bet all of us seniors are really looking forward to is graduation. Our graduation date is Saturday, June 6th, here in the Lake City gymnasium. Graduation is a wonderful time to celebrate accomplishments and spend time saying goodbye to friends and having laughs with your family. After graduation, some families go out for a late brunch, or lunch while others will just go home. Later in the day though, seniors will probably want to celebrate their newly acquired “freedom” from school. For those of you who don’t want to get in trouble, or want to hang out with the senior class one more time, there will be a graduation party at the Kroc Center from 9 P.M. until 5 A.M. The tickets are $50 and will raise to $60 after April 30th. If you want to know more information about the graduation party, then follow the link to my last article. https://timberwolftimes.com/3774/student-life/hey-seniors-graduation-party-is-coming-up/
