Business Professionals of America (BPA)
Right now most of the BPA members are solidifying the foundation for their events, and building from the ground up! Nationals is where they want to get to but State and Regional competitions stand in their way. The Regional competition is coming up in two months and everyone is getting the things they need together so that they can have a flawless event presentation. With events ranging from management, marketing and human resources to financial services and Administrative support to information technology, there are over 50 events to choose from. But its not about the pre-performance jitters right now, save that for a week before the competition. Its all about teamwork.
Here’s what BPA is all about:
BPA is a Professional Technical Student Organization Club open to any student who is interested. Lake City BPA started with 8 members in 2005, and has grown to over 50 members! It helps lead students who are interested in pursuing careers in business management, office administration, information technology, and other related career fields. BPA has chapters all over the United States, and has 51,000 members in over 2,300 chapters in 23 states, and continuity growing.
