Battle of the Brains

Intelligence. Frustration. Competition. All of these describe the scholastic meet that took place on Monday, November 4th. Our own Lake City kids had to go against Gonzaga Prep, Charter Academy, Deer Park, Lewis and Clark, and Central Valley High School in a battle of trivia known only by the smartest of the smart. Our team consisted of Sophomore Juliana Benitez, Junior Tristan Reasor, Junior Leon Wu, Senior Jamie Orchard-Pomeroy, and Senior Logan Stewart. They did not win any of the three rounds, but came in a close second in the final round. The next meet is on Monday, November 18th at East Valley High School. Wish them luck!
